Baglist

Just say what you need.

Privacy policy

Effective 27 October 2026

Baglist has no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your lists stay on your iPhone and in your own iCloud.

What Baglist collects

Almost nothing. There is no account and no sign-in. If you use invite codes, Baglist keeps a scrambled ID, as explained under Invite codes.

  • Nothing sold or shared. Baglist does not sell or share any personal information, and has no analytics, ads or tracking.
  • Only Apple's iCloud. Baglist connects only to Apple's iCloud, to sync lists you choose to share and to check invite codes. Nothing you say leaves your iPhone.

Your voice and the microphone

Baglist uses the microphone only while you hold the bag, or when you start it with the Action button. It is not listening at any other time.

What you say is turned into text on your iPhone by Apple’s on-device speech recognition. It is not sent anywhere.

How items are sorted

Baglist sorts your items using Apple’s on-device model or rules built into the app. Both run on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server to do this.

Where your list is kept

Your lists are stored on your iPhone. A list you share is kept in your own iCloud so the people you share it with can see it. Baglist has no server of its own.

Invite codes

If you use invite codes, Baglist stores your code and a one-way scrambled version of your iCloud user ID in Apple’s CloudKit. That lets a friend’s code count once. Nothing else about you is stored, and nothing is used for ads or tracking.

Deleting your data

You can delete a list or clear its items at any time in the app. Deleting Baglist removes the lists on your iPhone. A list you shared stays in your iCloud until you delete it in the app. To remove your invite code, email privacy@robertoercole.com.

Changes to this policy
